What can you scan, what does a result mean, and who can see it? Here are the practical details about using tucii.
Getting started
Is tucii free?
Yes. The current beta offers one free measurement scan per browser every 24 hours for guests. Signed-in accounts also have a scan allowance. Shared capacity and service limits can temporarily prevent a scan from starting; availability is shown in the product.
Do I need an account?
No. You can start as a guest without an invitation. Guest reports stay accessible in the same browser for up to 30 days. Choose the Google saving action to attach them to your account; signing in alone does not move guest reports.
What can I scan? Does it have to be mine?
You can check an eligible public company, brand, product, service, organization or professional, including one you do not own. tucii needs enough public information to identify it and establish relevant questions. Private individuals and personal-life or sensitive-trait assessments are outside the supported scope.
Which AI engines and languages are supported?
The current questions and evaluation are in English. See the current engine coverage for the maintained list and question counts. Your report shows the actual engine set and any exclusions for that scan.
How long does a scan take?
Timing depends on engine availability and collection. The measurement stage has a 15-minute deadline; matching happens before it. You may see a score earlier when enough evidence qualifies, with remaining checks still in progress. This is not a completion-time guarantee.
Understanding your results
Are the questions really unbranded?
The discovery questions do not name the target. Recognition and consideration are separate checks that intentionally name it. The score explanation shows how the three components contribute, and the completed report lets you inspect the stored questions and answers.
Why might a report be partial or have insufficient data?
Some answers may fail to arrive or cannot be evaluated reliably. A partial report has enough qualifying evidence for a score and labels what is missing. If fewer than two engines qualify, no overall score is calculated. Unavailable checks are never counted as evidence that the target was absent.
Does a low score mean the company or product is bad?
No. The score describes observed AI answers for the selected focus at a particular time. It does not rate product quality or establish market position. Check the individual components and evidence before drawing a conclusion.
Why do I get different answers when I ask an AI myself?
Wording, time, market, session and product behavior can change an answer. tucii records one observation per question and engine, through a managed collector. It does not promise to reproduce every person’s experience or predict the next answer.
Will running a scan improve visibility?
A scan measures an observation. It does not edit a website, train a model or submit a target for promotion. tucii shows evidence and measured gaps; it does not establish their cause or guarantee that a particular action will improve the score.
Privacy & sharing
Who can see my report?
Reports start private. Authorized administrators can access retained reports to investigate failures and provide support. Separately, an eligible recent scan may appear in the public feed with the target’s name, icon, score and completion time. That listing does not include your identity or the report’s prompts and answers.
What happens when I share a report?
Creating a full report link makes the displayed report, prompts, answers, citations and comparisons readable by anyone with the link. Your account identity stays out of it. You can revoke the link later, but copies someone already saved cannot be recalled.
Can I delete my data or ask for help?
Signed-in users can open Privacy & data in the account menu to delete their account after a recent Google sign-in. For access or privacy support, use Contact us. The privacy notice explains report retention, deletion and the services used to run tucii.
